George Gregson Scholarships in Chemistry

The George Gregson Scholarships in Chemistry have been established through the generous gift of George Gregson, Class of 1924.

ELIGIBILITY

Applicants must be Chemistry graduate students in the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at The University of Arizona. Biochemistry graduate students are not eligible. Awardees will be selected on the basis of scholarship, character and professional promise. A cumulative 3.5 GPA is required.

 

SELECTION PROCESS

The Department Head will appoint a scholarship selection committee composed of members of the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry. The committee will evaluate applications based on the eligibility criteria above. Candidates selected by the Department must be approved by the Dean of the College of Science and OSFA. Five (5) scholarships will be made annually at varying amounts based on annual distribution pay out.
