Although my main focus areas are teaching and department administration, I do dabble in educational development. My primary areas of interest are the Analytical Chemistry and Instrumental Analysis. Most research I do is geared toward development of experiments and curricular activities that can be implemented in the instrumental lab courses to increase student engagement and interest.
Courses:
Chem 400a Instrumental Analysis
Chem 405 Chemical Safety
Chem 528b Instrumental Analysis (lab supervisor)
- "Quantitative analysis of sulfate in water by indirect EDTA titration", D. Belle-Oudry, Journal of Chemical Education, 85 (9), (2008), 1269-1270.
