The Dr. Curtis L. Schilling, Jr. Graduate Scholarship Endowment has been established through the generous gift of Dr. Schilling Jr.

Dr. Curtis L. Schilling, Jr. earned a B.S. and M.A. in Chemistry from Syracuse University and a PhD in Chemistry from The University of Arizona. After a postdoctoral position at the University of Iowa, he worked for 34 years at Union Carbide. Dr. Schilling was a recognized authority on hydrosilation chemistry and filed over 30 patents. He was also active in numerous community organizations, as well as the American Chemical Society and Alpha Chi Sigma.
Eligibility
For an outstanding Chemistry graduate student in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry.
Selection Process
Selection is made upon recommendations from the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, subject to the approval of the College of Science Scholarship Committee.
