Jacob in the Lab

My name Is Jacob Fredman. I am currently a sophomore majoring in biochemistry with a minor in public health. I work with the Polt lab group researching the synthesis of serine glycosides for PACAP using minimally competent Lewis acid catalysis.  I am also on the board of directors of ASUA's Molecular and Cellular biology and Biochemistry club.

In my free time, I enjoy mountain biking and volunteering at Banner's Diamond children's hospital with child life services. I chose to attend the University of Arizona because of its excellent science programs and many research opportunities. After graduation, I want to attend medical school and study to be a physician.
