CBC congratulates Tarek El Assaad and Anjalee Wijetunge on being selected as the Carl S. Marvel Memorial Scholars for 2021.

The Marvel Scholarship is awarded annually to outstanding Chemistry graduate students. The late Carl S. Marvel was known for his dedicated to education as well as for his many scientific accomplishments. He received many awards during his lifetime, including being elected to the National Academy of Sciences in 1938.
