Chemistry Magic Show on Admitted Student Day

On Saturday, April 12, 2025, the University of Arizona hosted its Admitted Student Day (ASD). It’s a fun day celebrating newly admitted students. The day offered a glimpse into campus life, showcasing the resources and amenities available to students, as well as an introduction to the university's community. Students and families from the College of Sciences (COS) attended a welcome session at 11:30 a.m. in the Student Union. Following this, CBC Ambassadors guided visitors to an information session led by Carleen De Armon, an academic advisor, alongside several CBC Ambassadors. Guests then had the opportunity to choose between a Chemistry "Magic" Show or the Biological Engineering and Chemical Research (BECUR) conference, held in the ENR2 building. To wrap up the day's events, all COS guests were invited to a mixer in the Chemistry/Commons Atrium, where they could learn more about their major and other relevant information. Additionally, campus tours were available in the afternoon for those who wished to explore further.
