Mensch Prize in Astrobiology Awarded to Lilia Koelemay

Arizona Astrobiology Center AABC is proud to award its first Mensch Prize in Astrobiology to Lilia Koelemay, CBC Graduate Student with the Ziurys Research Group, for her work identifying organic and prebiotic molecules in circumstellar envelopes using radio astronomy.

This prestigious award includes a certificate and a $1,000 cash prize for outstanding contributions to astrobiology.
