Meet a New CBC Graduate Student

Hi, this is Sivaraj Velusamy from Tamil Nadu, India. I did my Master of Science in Chemistry from MANIT - Bhopal, India.

I'm here at the University of Arizona for a doctoral program in physical chemistry. My research interests involve studying the optical and electronic properties of materials for modern displays and photovoltaics applications, and I hope to carry on with the same during my PhD.

This is my first time coming out of India. I hope to stay in academia after my PhD and continue with my research, but at the same time I am ready to embrace whatever opportunity the future holds for me.
