Gal Melman, CBC Undergraduate, shares her research experience!

My name is Gal Melman, I have been a part of the Njardarson lab for a bit over a year. Engaging in research has been an immensely rewarding journey for me. It has been and continues to be such a privilege to explore and contribute to the world of synthetic organic chemistry.

What has truly left a profound impact on my research experience is the collaborative and engaging environment of the lab. Working alongside passionate and intelligent mentors, as well as the enthusiasm and creative mind of Jon, has not only enhanced my understanding of organic chemistry but also fostered a creative environment in which I can contribute to the quest for discovery and innovation in this field.

After graduation, I plan on taking a gap year and working in a biotech company, after which I will further my studies in chemistry in graduate school.
