Admitted Day 2024

On April 6th, UArizona Student Admitted Day featured an engaging lineup of events for admitted students interested in Chemistry and Biochemistry majors.

Welcome session kickoff at the Grand Ballroom followed by departmental sessions. First, a Demo by Andrew Vos, VP of the Chemistry Club, showcased some exciting experiments or demonstrations to highlight the intriguing aspects of chemistry. Then, Hibram Sanchez Garcia, CBC Academic Advisor, gave an overview, providing valuable insights into the structure, curriculum, and opportunities available within the Biochemistry and Chemistry majors.

This would have included course requirements, AP credit, double majoring, research opportunities, and potential career paths. Followed by CBC Ambassadors Momoko Cronin, Michael Foster, and Allison Mason, sharing firsthand accounts of their experiences with research and college life. They likely discussed their involvement in research projects, internships, and extracurricular activities and how these experiences have enriched their academic journey at the university. Finally, there was a college mixer in the Chemistry and Commons lobby.
