The generous assistance of the scholarship alleviated some of the financial burden, allowing me to dedicate more time to my research endeavors and volunteering at hospice, two areas that hold great significance in my pursuit of becoming a healthcare professional.

Looking ahead, my aspiration is to attend the University of Arizona College of Medicine and specialize in a general surgery since our state is facing a significant shortage of primary physicians.
