I am an analytical chemistry Ph.D. student working in Dr. Craig Aspinwall’s lab. After completing my B.S. degree in chemistry, I developed the passion for bioanalytical sensor development. My work has been focused on fabricating ion channel sensors to detect important biological molecules such as ATP and glucose. I enjoy spending time with my family in my free time. My husband, five year old son, and rescue dog all enjoy outdoor time hiking and spending time in parks. In addition, I also find time to volunteer at an animal shelter to assist with homeless pets.
